Kaitlyn and Braydon met way back in 7th grade and immediately had a crush on each other… but neither one ever said a word. (Classic.) Life went on, middle school turned into high school, and they both ended up in other relationships, never realizing they were missing something pretty special.

Fast forward to the summer before junior year—Braydon finally shot his shot and told Kaitlyn he liked her. Plot twist: she said no. 😅 But fate wasn’t done yet.

Once school started, they ended up in English class together, and that’s where everything changed. Talking turned into laughing, laughing turned into love, and before they knew it, they had completely fallen for each other at 16.

Fast forward again to age 20—Braydon proposed… and Kaitlyn said no. 😳 (At first!) She was so shocked she couldn’t believe he was actually proposing. After a solid five minutes of stunned silence—and Braydon repeatedly reminding her that she did need to say yes or no—she finally said YES.

Now, at 21, they’re getting married and still laughing their way through life together. From middle school crushes to bad timing, English class, and a very dramatic proposal, they can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together—forever best friends and very much in love. ❤️
